Fight for Indiana’s clean energy future.

"

Indiana Solar United is dedicated to mobilizing supporters of solar in the Hoosier State.

Solar development in Indiana has the opportunity to produce clean, affordable energy, create jobs, generate revenue for schools and local services, and protect farmland.

But it is under attack by misinformation that is trying to disrupt new projects and stop the energy transition.

Default message that we will send on your behalf to your local officials (County Commissioners, County Council members, State Senator, and State Representative):

The Paddlefish Solar project represents an important opportunity that will significantly benefit Wells and Huntington Counties, and the state of Indiana as a whole. I strongly advocate for the approval of the project.

It will not only generate enough much-needed clean electricity each year to power the equivalent of 64,000 homes and contribute to American energy independence, but it will also have significant economic and land use benefits. The project will generate more than $90 million in long-term tax revenue for schools and local services in Wells and Huntington Counties. It will also provide landowners with stable revenue, which allows them to diversify their income, support continued agricultural operations, and prevent other permanent uses of the land such as residential and clustered development.

Sincerely,
